DIRECTIONS SHOULD YOU ARRIVE LATE FOR OUR

JACK THE RIPPER WALK

THE MEETING POINT.

Our Jack the Ripper Walk meets outside the Toynbee Hall Exit of Aldgate East Underground Station. This is on the District Line and the Hammersmith and City Line. The station is in zone one. If you are coming to the station from the west of town (central London) you turn left of the train, go up the steps and through the barrier. The Toynbee Hall Exit is the one on the right. The Jack the Ripper Walk meets on the pavement directly outside that exit. If you are coming from the east of town turn right off the train and follow the above directions.

REFRESHMENTS AND TOILETS BEFORE THE TOUR.

If you arrive early and would like a drink or toilet facilities you can go to the Aldgate Exchange pub on Whitechapel High Street. This is reached by turning right out of the Toynbee Hall Exit of Aldgate East Underground Station. Just keep walking up till you pass the bus stop and the pub is on the right just after the bus stop. It is less than two minutes from the Toynbee Hall Exit of the station.
