When booking the Jack the Ripper Walk you are stating that you have read and agree to our Terms and Conditions.

Once your booking is made via the secure server (all bookings are via PAYPAL, one of the most trusted names in online security) a note will be sent to us that you have booked the tour and how many places you have reserved.

We will then respond (usually within 2 hours - at weekends and during the night in the UK it may be a little longer - and never less than 24 hours after booking) with an e-mail giving you full directions to the starting point of the tour and confirming your reservations.

 

IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED A CONFIRMATION E-MAIL 48 HOURS AFTER BOOKING PLEASE EITHER E-MAIL US OR PHONE US ON

020 8530-8443.

 

We do not issue or mail tickets but rather operate a guest list on the night of your tour. When you arrive at the starting point (Aldgate East Underground Station, Toynbee Hall Exit) we will simply tick your name off the list.

You will be asked to respond to the booking e-mail to confirm that you have received it. If we do not receive this response from you we will re-send it three times.

 

IT IS ALSO WORTH CALLING ON THE DAY OF THE TOUR JUST TO ENSURE THERE HAVE BEEN NO LAST MINUTE CHANGES.

Since your confirmation is sent by e-mail it is essential that you book your tickets using a current and valid e-mail address.

If you have a Hotmail or Yahoo account please ensure that you provide an address that you check regularly. We cannot be held responsible for you not receiving your confirmation if the e-mail address provided is not current.

If you have a spam filter please ensure that your confirmation e-mail has not been filtered out. Your confirmation will be sent from the following address. Rippertour@aol.com

WE WILL NEVER ABUSE YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS BY PASSING IT OR SELLING IT TO THIRD PARTIES. WE, LIKE YOU, GET A LOT OF SPAM MAIL AND REALISE HOW ANNOYING IT CAN BE. WE WILL ONLY USE YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS TO NOTIFY YOU REGARDING THE DETAILS OF YOUR TOUR AND TO INFORM YOU OF ANY CHANGES TO THE TOUR OR PROBLEMS YOU MAY ENCOUNTER TRAVELLING TO THE TOUR.

ONCE AGAIN PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU PROVIDE A CURRENT AND VALID E-MAIL ADDRESS SO THAT WE CAN PROVIDE YOU WITH FULL DETAILS OF THE BOOKING.

If all else fails and we have not been able to reach you by e-mail, providing you have a valid receipt of booking your name will most certainly be on the list so you can just come along to the meeting point.

 

The tour meets outside the TOYNBEE HALL EXIT OF ALDGATE EAST UNDERGROUND STATION. Aldgate East Station (please do not confuse this with Aldgate Station which is a totally different station) is on the District and Hammersmith and City Lines. If you are coming from the west, turn left off the train, go up the steps, take the exit to the right (the Toynbee Hall Exit) and we meet on the pavement outside that exit.

 

As we limit the number of participants around 36 - 39 people please do not just show up at the station as we only allow those who have booked in advance to participate on the tour.
