The Whitechapel Society is an exceptionally friendly group of Jack the Ripper and East End history enthusiasts who meet bi-monthly from February onwards in the upstairs bar of the Princess Alice pub on Commercial Street.
Doors open at 7pm and the meetings start at 7.45pm. For a modest admission charge you can attend these meetings and purchase both Jack the Ripper and historical merchandise, discuss all aspects of the case, learn about any new information that has come to light and enjoy a talk by a guest speaker.
The meetings are always well attended and the Society is very welcoming to strangers.
