It is the autumn of 1888 and a sinister serial killer is loose on the streets of London's East End. At first he is known simply as 'The Whitechapel Murderer'. But in time, thanks to a mysterious letter sent to a London news agency, he will become known as 'Jack the Ripper,' in which capacity his name will become famous throughout the world.

RIPPER NOTES

The Museum in Docklands Jack the Ripper Exhibition, which runs from May to November 2008, decided to stock our Jack the Ripper DVD after comparing it to similar offerings on the market.

Having watched and considered the many Jack the Ripper documentaries out there, they concluded that "Unmasking Jack the Ripper" was the best of them and duly called us to ask if they could stock the dvd in the shop.

Needless to say we were not only happy to oblige, but were also thrilled that our documentary received such an esteemed accolade.
