It is possible to pay by cheque but please phone us first to ensure we have availability on the night you require. We will then place your name on the tour list and will hold your places for 4 days. If payment is not received within four days we will release your booking. PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU PROVIDE US WITH A VALID AND CURRENT E-MAIL ADDRESS At the time of booking you will be asked to provide and e-mail address. Please ensure that you register an e-mail address that is valid and current in order that we can send you your confirmation. It might be necessary for us to contact you prior to the tour should there be any changes to the tour or travel disruption on the day of the tour. We promise that your e-mail address will never be passed on to or sold to third parties and we will only use it to confirm your booking and to notify you of any changes to your tour. YOUR GUIDES Your guide for the night will either be Richard Jones, Jenny Phillips, Chris Unwin, Lindsay Siviter or Neville Maguire. CHANGES TO YOUR TOUR We reserve the right to change any part of the tour should circumstances beyond our control dictate, this includes the substituting of a named guide with another. We reserve the right to cancel the tour in the case of guide illness or any other circumstances beyond our control. In the case of us cancelling the tour a full refund of any monies paid to us will be made. We reserve the right to refuse to take anyone on a tour who is, or who appears to be, under the influence of alcohol, or anyone whose behaviour is detrimental to the enjoyment of other tour participants. WEATHER CONDITIONS The tour will take place regardless of weather conditions. We go rain, shine and especially thick, thick, fog. We ask you to make this point clear to each member of your group and ask them to dress according to the weather forecast. We will be happy to advise you on the weather forecast for the night of your tour. Bad weather does not constitute a valid reason for your cancelling the tour and should you wish to do so on the day we regret that nor refund can be made. It is also worth bearing in mind that the streets of the London are at their spookiest and best when the mists gather, the winds blow and the shadows swirl. CANCELLATION POLICY. Should you wish to cancel your tour we will refund payments made providing we are given reasonable notice. If you cancel once a tour has become fully booked and sales have closed we will endeavour to re-sell your places to those who enquire for the night you have booked, but we regret that we cannot re-open sales for a tour once the booking has been closed. If we do re-sell your places then we will refund the monies paid to us less an administration fee of 85 pence per ticket. If we are unsuccessful in re-selling your places no refund will be made. HOW WE RESERVE YOUR PLACES Once you have booked your tour we will be informed by PAYPAL how many places you have purchased and the amount you have paid. On receipt of this we will send you an e-mail detailing the date you have booked and the number of places you have booked. We do not issue or ship tickets, but rather this e-mailed confirmation is effectively your ticket. Your name and the number of places you have booked is then placed on our list of participants which the guide brings to the start of the tour. Your name will be ticked off when you arrive. This e-mail will also give you full details of the meeting point and directions for travelling to the tour by tube. This e-mail will be sent within 24 hours after you have made the booking. THAT IS WHY IT IS VITAL THAT YOU PROVIDE A VALID AND CURRENT E-MAIL ADDRESS AT THE TIME OF BOOKING. If you have not received this confirmation e-mail 24 hours after the booking has been made then please e-mail us at hauntings @aol.com and we will forward your booking. Remember, we do not operate a ticketing system, your name and the number of places you have booked is placed on participant list and we tick your names off as you arrive. SAFETY Tour participants are responsible for their own personal safety at all times. We also ask that tour participants remain vigilant at all times and keep their personal possessions safe. Discovery Tours and Events Ltd accept no responsibility for any loss of possessions or for any injury caused by your not taking care when crossing roads or not watching out for obstructions such as loose paving stones.
