A WORD OF WARNING.
The Jack
the Ripper Walk has been paced out to provide a route that is both interesting
and atmospheric. The East End
of
London has some fascinating places that you will visit and discover in the
course
of the tour. But like any big city there are those who are interested in
disrupting other people's enjoyment with criminal activity. To that end it is
not recommended that you do the Jack the Ripper walk on your own at night .
Where there are unsafe areas we will highlight this in the text and will warn
you against walking through certain places at night. Please heed
the warnings as your personal safety is of the utmost importance to us.
Obviously things can happen and by taking our self guided Jack the Ripper Walk
you do so on the strict understanding that we will not be held responsible for
any mishaps that might occur. You agree to be responsible for your own
personal safety and well being at all times during the course of the tour.
However, that said, we have been walking these streets for 24 years without
mishap. If you are street wise you should be able to enjoy a fascinating and
informative journey that is both safe and hassle free.
So please
feel free to use this website in any way that you wish. Don your sturdy walking
shoes grab an A-Z of London and enjoy a walk on the wild side as you follow in
the footsteps of Jack the Ripper and uncover his story in the very streets and
places where his murders occurred.
