Judy and Paul Begg – The Double Event
We’ve always wanted to offer you the best guides on our tours. Indeed, we’ve always striven to ensure that, when you join us for a Jack the Ripper Walk, you are taken around by experts and not, as in the case of many Jack the Ripper Tour companies, by actors who have just learnt a script.
Well, we’ve got the big one now. The Doyen of ripperology, Paul Begg, who, along with his lovely wife, Judy Begg, will be adding an extra, and special, ingredient, to our Jack the Ripper Tour – The Judy and Paul Begg Double Event.
That’s right, the man who, more than any other, is internationally recognised as one of, if not the leading names in Jack the Ripper studies will be coming along to meet people at the end of tours conducted by Judy.
Judy trained as an actress and spent much of her working life in television whilst, at the same time, assisting Paul in his research into the Jack the Ripper case. She will bring an exciting new angle to our Jack the Ripper walks, whilst the chance to meet and talk over the case with Paul Begg at the end of the tour is one not to be missed.
Paul, for those of you who don’t know, is the author of several acclaimed books on the subject, most notably, Jack the Ripper The Definitive History, and Jack the Ripper The Facts. He has appeared on virtually every television documentary on the subject in the last twenty years and is one of the most respected figures in the field of ripper studies.
So that now brings the tally of genuine experts we offer to six, far more than any other Jack the Ripper Tour.
Judy and Paul did their first “double event” as we like to call it last night (Thursday 24th May 2012) and it is about to become a regular fixture on our schedule. So much so that we will shortly be posting a schedule of dates when you can join one of their tours.
So now, we not only offer you a far more atmospheric route than the Tower Hill London walks, but we also offer you the chance to meet the man who is internationally recognised as one of the leading, if not the leading, names in Jack the Ripper studies. And, of course, because of our policy of limiting the size of our groups, you won’t be herded round in a massive cattle drive of a tour that might number in excess of 100 people.
