Without further ado, let’s get started with our May 2020 Jack the Ripper quiz.
HOW TO DO THE QUIZ
As regular doers of our quizzes know, to start the quiz you will need to enter a name into the appropriate box below. You can enter any name of your choosing, since we only use it to award you a certificate once you have completed the challenge.
Aside from that, your name is used for no other reason and so, it doesn’t matter what name you enter.
Once you’ve entered a name, hit the Start button and off you go.
ANY PROBLEMS FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Now, it sometimes happens that, owing to the privacy setting on some devises (ipads and iphones are notorious for this) the quiz won’t launch for some people.
The way to solve this conundrum is to scroll down to the white link at the foot of the page and click on that quiz link. This will then take you to our online repository where the Department of Ripperology stores all its quizzes, and that should solve any issues with the quiz.
TEN QUESTIONS ON THE WHITECHAPEL MURDERS
The quiz itself consists of 10 questions about the people and places connected with the Jack the Ripper atrocities.
The answers are either multi-choice or true or false, so you have, at worst, a 25% chance of getting the right answer, and at best a 50% chance.
Of course, you might well know the answers from the get-go, in which case your chances of answering the questions correctly will increase dramatically.
PLEASE TAKE YOUR TIME
Please be sure to read the questions carefully, as most mistakes are made when people don’t actually read the question and, as a consequence, they actually answer the wrong question!
YOU’LL GET A CERTIFICATE
Once you have answered all ten questions, you will be awarded a certificate detailing your score in the quiz.
You can try the quiz as many times as you wish, since we place no restrictions on the number of times our quizzes can be tried.
We’d be absolutely delighted if you would share your certificate with us on our Facebook Page.
SO ARE YOU READY?
Anyway, that’s the preamble over with.
If you’re ready to go, the quiz awaits you.
Good luck!
