VOTE FOR YOUR FAVOURED SUSPECT
In case you hadn’t noticed, the country has gone to the polls today to vote for which party will be in government for the foreseeable future and which of our politicians will be Prime minister.
So, in honour of democracy at work, we’ve decided to emulate the political scene and take our own vote on who Jack the Ripper was.
WHO WAS JACK THE RIPPER?
Below you will find a list of suspects whose names have, over the years, been put forward for having been the World’s most infamous serial killer.
The poll isn’t about whether a particular suspect is a stupid suspect (stupid as in silly as a suspect, albeit one or two of them may have actually been stupid!) but rather which of them you think is the likeliest suspect when it comes to having been Jack the Ripper. It is your opinion that counts and every vote will be counted.
CHOOSE YOUR SUSPECT CAST YOUR VOTE
Casting your vote is as simple as, well, casting your vote for one of the political parties in today’s general election.
Simply place your tick in the box next to your favoured suspect and we’ll get busy with collating all the votes.
Once all the votes are in – or at least in seven days time – we’ll make our own announcement on which of the suspects received the most votes and, therefore, who has been awarded the mantle of the leading Jack the Ripper suspect 2015.
With so many suspects having, over the years, ended up on the ever growing list of potential candidates we are unable to list them all. But, the list below is a comprehensive cross section of names, and it features the major suspects.
If, perchance, you don’t see your favoured suspect, simply cast your vote in the “none of the above” box.

To take part, you won’t need to enter any person information – not your name, not your email address – simply cast your vote and away we go.
But, could we respectively request that you confine yourself to just one vote? Might we also ask that you refrain from blatant electioneering by trying to convince people that your suspect is the one they should vote for?

WE’LL FORM A COALITION
In the event of two suspects receiving an identical number of votes we’ll follow the leader of the political parties and form a coalition of the two most voted on suspects.
