It’s Coming – The Jack the Ripper Documentary

Since 2013 sees the 125th anniversary of the Jack the Ripper murders, we’re going to be marking the auspicious event with a very special project.

Over the next few months we are going to positing weekly instalments of our acclaimed documentary Unmasking Jack the Ripper.

The first instalment will air at 9.20am on 29th August 2013 and this will then be followed by a fresh instalment that will be released on significant dates connected with the Jack the Ripper crimes.

As well as dramatic reconstructions, the programme (which in total is 75 minutes long) will feature dramatic reconstructions of the events surrounding the murders, plus interviews with experts on the case that, combined, will provide an in depth understanding of the age and the streets in which the Jack the Ripper crimes occurred.

Presented by author and broadcaster Richard Jones, the documentary will follow the police investigation as they pit their wits against history’s most infamous serial killer.

It will look at how the crimes themselves impacted on society as a whole, and will even feature an interview with a lady who grew up in the neighbourhood in the 1930’s, and who might even be a blood descendent from police’s main suspect!

So, if you want to get the full story of the Jack the Ripper crimes, and you want to follow the twists and turns of the World’s greatest murder mystery, then be sure to tune into our Jack the Ripper TV Channel on August 29th 2013 at 9.20am and prepare to be taken back in time to the long ago autumn of terror.
