The April 2018 Jack The Ripper Quiz

It’s time for another Jack the Ripper Quiz.

Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to answer ten questions on the history of the Whitechapel murders, and, more importantly, to see how many of them you can, in fact, answer correctly.

It is hugely important that you actually read the questions carefully before giving your answer. Indeed, as with an exam, one of the commonest mistakes people make when they undertake one of our quizzes is to answer a completely different question to the one that is being asked.

So, don’t rush to complete the challenge in the fastest possible time, but, instead, allow yourself the luxury of a little time.

If you are a seasoned taker of our monthly quizzes, well just scroll down to the bottom of the page, enter your name, hit the red start button and away you go.

However, if you are new to the quizzes, here’s how they work.

First off, you need to enter a name. It can be your name, but it doesn’t have to be. In fact, it can be any name of your choosing. The only reason we need a name is that, on completing the quiz, you will be awarded a certificate giving your score.

This certificate is awarded instantly and is presented by our esteemed Department of Ripperology.

Once you hit the red Start button, the questions will begin.

All of them require either multi-choice or true or false answers.

What that means is that the correct answer will be one of those that are presented to you, which is why it is imperative that you read the question carefully, and then tick the box next to the answer to that question.

The answers to many of the questions can be found on the various blog articles on our website, so you could find the answers by using the search box on the right side of the page.

Of course, you might know the answers without having to search for them, in which case just tick the appropriate box and then move on to the next question.

You can make as many attempts as you choose at the quiz, there is absolutely no limit to the number of times you can attempt the quiz; so you might like to apply that old maxim – if at first you don’t succeed, try, try and try again!

Your certificate is for your eyes only, so it is up to you what you do with it.

You could, of course, share it with your friends and colleagues and then challenge them to do better.

You could, just hold on to it and share it with nobody.

We’d love to see your results, so you could also share it with us on our Facebook Page.

However, none of this is writ in stone, the only person who will see your certificate is yourself, so it is totally up to you what you do with it.

Anyway, that is how the Jack the Ripper Quiz works.

So, when you feel ready, enter your name, or a name, into the boxes below, hit Start and off you go.

Good Luck!
