The September 2017 Quiz

Welcome to the September Jack the Ripper quiz.

By the 15th of September, 1888, at least three, possibly four, murders were believed to have been carried out by the Whitechapel murderer, and the area was in the grip of a wave of fear and trepidation.

Over the last two weeks, we’ve been bringing you daily updates from the newspapers of 1888 concerning the reports on the murders as they were appearing at the time.

So, the September quiz features questions that are related to the murders that had taken place up to the 15th of that month – Martha Tabram, Mary Nichols and Annie Chapman.

As per usual, the answers are either multi-choice or true or false, so you just need to select that correct answer from a list of four possibilities.

The answers have all been featured in our recent blog articles on the Whitechapel Murders, so if you are unsure of any of the answers, you could always type them into the search box in the right column of the page. Just sayin’!

To begin the quiz you simply need to hit the “Start The Quiz” button at the bottom of this page.

There is no time limit, and there is no limit to the number of times you can attempt the quiz.

Other than that, the quiz is ready – your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to answer 10 questions on the Jack the Ripper murders.

Good Luck!
