All is well today, Sunday 28th October 2012, and the tubes are running into Aldgate East as normal. Please remember that the clocks have gone back by an hour today and plan your journey accordingly when travelling to the start of the Tour at Aldgate East Underground Station.
The nights are now getting chilly and the atmosphere out there on the mean streets of Jack the Ripper’s London the atmosphere is really building up.
With November approaching we’re nearing the anniversary on 9th November of he murder of Mary Kelly, whom, many believe, was the last of Jack the Ripper’s victims.
We’ll be running an anniversary walk on this day so be sure to book your places early to avoid missing out.
In the meantime, with Hallowe’en approaching, we’ve launched a Facebook competition and, as prizes, we are giving away two signed copies of Haunted Britain and Ireland by Richard Jones. Is all you have to do is zoom on over to our Facebook Page, tell us your favourite haunted location, and it could be a location anywhere in the world, give us a like and, on Wednesday, we’ll select two winners to receive a signed copy of the book.
We’ve got some great articles coming up over the next few days. So, be sure to keep checking back as we continue bringing you articles about the East End of London and the Jack the Ripper mystery.
In addition we’re going to make a big announcement in November that we hope you’re going to like a lot. Let’s just say London’s premier Jack the Ripper Walk is going to get even better!
So, in closing, please remember that, if you’re booked onto the Jack the Ripper Tour today, the clocks have gone back. Also, the trains are running as normal into Aldgate East Underground Station tonight.
